Oh Oh Oh

me me....I've got a good one!
We went tent camping with some friends to the lake. The other hubby had taken my oldest son and his son down early to get the tents set up and the boats in the water. My youngest son was 2 at the time. When we get down to the campsite

we could not believe that he had sat our tent less than 2 ft from the water...seriously you had to walk sideways to get around the tent! Hubby and I were worried about the little one falling in...so we wouldn't let him take his lifejacket off at all and if you didn't have him in your sight you were always yelling out "Who has Joshua" Needless to say after 3 days of this and a total of 5 kids 10 and under we were ready for our (not) restful weekend to be over. The last night there we had built a fire and were all sitting around it talking and hubby looks at me with wide eyes "Where is Joshua??" I just looked at him very calmly and said "I don't know" He then starts to get a little panicky and also mad at me cause he can tell I'm not worried...he scans around the campsite again..."Where is he

" I said "in your lap!

"

The whole time he had been holding Joshua, but when he was "scanning" the campsite he was looking over his head...and being that he was the youngest of 3 I guess he was used to having someone in his lap?!? That is one of our favorite family story to tell when the boys are reminiscing!
