So, I found a crate training article that encourages using the bell on the door as well and I'm going to try to do it with that added. I will be more vigilant and leave her in her crate more. The only problem is that she's starting to cry more when I leave her in it which leaves her outside more on a leash because I don't want her bothering me and the kids with her crying. They will just let her out if she cries. I am going to start getting up earlier or in the middle of the night to let her out too so she can learn to let me know when she needs out at night instead of going in her crate sometimes.
