My parent's yorkie is Hercules (since we all know yorkies are a big dog trapped in a little dog body), so I wanted to name our dog Samson (a Biblical character known for his strength). My husband didn't like that one. So the first night we had our baby, we sat in the backyard while he was running around and went through the alphabet and said the first name that came to our mind for each letter. We got to C, I said Cody. We continued on until we got to K. I said, why don't we name him Kody with a K, since our last name starts with a K? And so Kody was named.
I wonder if this is how we'll end up picking our first kid's name...
