In my personal opinion, I think its a bad idea to keep the babies in long hair in the summer unless you're planning to show them. It's uncomfortable to play in, it's too hot in the summer for that and they don't enjoy it, its mostly for our enjoyment. As much as I love Coco in her longer hair, I decided it would be selfish of me to keep her in that cut in 100 degree weather, just so I can talk about how beautiful her hair is. She loves her shorter cut, it's cooler, no more tangles and she loves it. I think if you're not showing your baby, do her a favor and cut it so she can stay cool. JMHO |
