I would not recommend a medication unless my vet has told me about it. So..my vet said the common OTC kao is safe. Pepto bismol is not as good for some reason I forgot...something in it.
There are no side effects I have ever noticed..and my vet said it was very hard to overdose a Yorkie with it.
If the diaherra is bad, i would give him a bland diet like chicken/ rice, no dry until it clears up and see the vet. |
