Sounds like you are letting her run around all the time. A lot of people simply can't fathom that crate training means that the dog is in the crate most of the time. Not only when he/she is sleep or you are at work but when you are home too. At 8 months old I finally let my pup run around while we were at home. The 6 months of crate training meant we never had an accident and never had to worry about her not going to her litter box. I would suggest you leave him in the crate most of the time and when you take him out take him directly to where you want him to go. Let him hang out for about 10 minutes and put him back.
