People say this all the time, but it won't work....not like you think. We work for major oil companies. If you boycott...say....Exxon.....Exxon will not lose any money....they then sell off their excess to other oil companies. They buy and sell product between themselves all the time. A boycott wouldn't cause any oil company to lose any money. No gas boycott would be effective....even if we didn't buy gas/oil from ANYONE for a SINGLE day. The day after...it's business as usual.

And coming to Exxon's defense or any oil company, but when profits are posted....the media is not telling you whether it's gross profit or net profit. My company had a gross profit of close to a million, but our net profit (after expenses) was far, far less than that. Just something to consider....
