my husband has had so many dumb moments that we call them "Kennyisms" He's famous for saying things like "it was great but really awful"
Once, I was holding his cousin's baby and he started fussing. I said to Kenny "hand me his bottle out of the diaper bag" He goes over to it and asks "do you want the full one or the empty one?" Another one? I am a freak about picking out my calendar for the year. I shop and shop until I find the perfect one. Once in late October we were walking through a mall and I saw a calendar store. I said "Oh, calendars" he says "Why would you want to buy one now, it's already october?"
Last one: one year he was selling his brother's car for him and it was parked in our driveway. My kids were at the age where they tried hunting down their Christmas presents. So, I hid everything in the trunk of the car. We were sitting at dinner and my son says "hey Megan, after dinner lets go hunt for presents" I said "you'll never find them" This led to a conversation about me having the perfect hiding place. Megan asked if after Christmas we would tell them where we had hidden them. I said yes and Kenny said no at the same time. I said "why not" and he says "well, true. Jimmy's car will be gone by next Christmas". All 3 of us just stared at him and I was going to kill him!
