Ok, I'll be the first one to amicably disagree.
I really don't care one way or another. Everyone has the right to their opinions, but mine is that I think people put way too much stock in registries when we all know that they guarentee nothing. To me, its like fancy name brand clothes. The name alone makes the item costly but does not necessarily guarentee the quality of the item.
