I just ordered some bells myself. Currently my 5-month Napoleon is trained to either do it outside when I take him for a walk or he'll run outside to a patio area. The patio area is wonderful because he goes out there by himself (when I leave the sliding door slightly ajar), HOWEVER, after awhile, that place stinks of poo and pee...not to mention hard to clean when he misses the wee wee pad, and I really hate that. So I'm hoping by doing the bell thing, he will be able to effectively communicate to me when he needs to go.
