It is interesting that she had this episode at 8 years of age - and had a similar episode when she was only six weeks old.

I wouldn't even guess what is causing this - but, wouldn't it be wonderful if she doesn't experience this again for another 8 years.

Watch her for a day or two since she seems to have settled down. And - if she returns to normal - it's likely a vet won't be able to diagnose any problem. Let's just hope she gets back to normal and stays there for a long time again.
