It is my understanding that they don't like the feel of it or something, so you should place it on and around the places they "like" to go and the areas you don't want them to go so that they will avoid those areas (I'll have foil everywhere!!!)

. At least I think this is how I understood it. If anyone is familiar with this method and I got it wrong PLEASE correct me!!!
