Update
Hi Everyone-
Great News, my Nikki managed to jump up on the couch this past weekend to get on my lap for the first time in a month, it was VERY exciting.
She is eating and drinking and back to her old self again.
With one exception
(which is sort of funny). With Nikki being so much smaller than Gia it seemed that she had given up on trying to be the dominant dog in the house because Gia was much stronger. NOW, since she was ill, I've noticed that she has (with complete confidence) begun to change the rules of the house. Gia tries to take food and toys from her but she is not having any of it. Gia is actually starting to back down from her "little BIG SISTER." Hurray for Nikki!!! Poor little thing needs to defend herself!!!
TO LEXI's Mom:
I had that problem with the girls as well but apparently a little time is what the older / smaller siblings need in order to take there place. I sure hope it's just a matter of adjustment for them. My girls are only 10 months apart and weigh 3.2 lbs and 11.6 lbs.
TO KAT4tx:
I will keep your little one in my prayers and I sure hope you and your baby are doing okay.
