I think here lies the problem with these situations. Women think the "cuteness" of the dog will win over every man and he will forget that he never wanted the dog in the first place. Well I can tell you from experience that sour taste in your mouth never goes away.

We have had our yorkie for almost 4 months now, and I am sorry to admit this.....But, my hubby feels the same way you feel.( The only difference is...he won't even help train, pick up after her,or really have ANYTHING to do with her.) If she jumps in his lap, he will put her back on the floor, if she paws at his leg for attention, he will ignore her. He just really does not care for any types of dogs. He didnt mind that I got her, but it was strictly in the understanding that she was to be MY dog only, and I would take all responsibility for her, such as housebreaking training ect.....He wanted NOTHING to do with it. But,I will have to say that she gets enough attention from me and my children, that she doesent need his, lol, and I take her with us just about everywhere we go. She IS spoiled by me, and I will never part with her. Dont get me wrong I love my hubby, but most of the time I like my yorkie better! lol
