I do with both my girls. I had let it grow out - but it always managed to poke them so now I keep it trimmed. I think since most all our yorkies are NOT show dogs - we can trim ....(Sorry Liz) lol -

it really opens their eyes up and I think they're happier without all that hair in their eyes...

Here's my pics of Chanel and Cheri right after a trim - I trim right UNDER their eyes...the inside corner only....and a teeny bit between the eyes.

AND the Wahl trimmer I use....I LOVE this trimmer for the face
