NEVER! That's the first thing I tell every new yorkie mom who comes in to the groom shop. If you just deal with it and keep training it to lay down and for crying out loud, let it grow, then it will grow and lay down on their face and look absolutely beautiful. it drives me nuts everytime someone asks, "and trim that b/c it's growing in their eyes. Well duh it's growing in there eyes, you keep cutting it so it keeps growing into their eyes! lol Sorry, that's just one of my biggest pet peeves with grooming Yorkies. That and when people ask for a "Yorkie cut" Yorkies aren't cut....lmao
