Background: Mike is a neat freak, obsessive compulisive almost, and likes only outdoor animals, but agreed to let me have a yorkie because I really wanted one.

Anyway, I am nervous he is going to regret letting me have a yorkie. I told him I will never give her up, if he kicks her out, I am going too!!!!

So, do you have suggestions on how to make it a smooth transition?? He is most concerned about potty accidents (I bought pish pads and diapers already), and whining at night.

My husband was totally against me getting Kloey, for one we did not really have the money and he thought it was a waiste of money to spend that much on a dog, but I was able to work the money off from my mom who loaned me the money to get her!
Now my husband loves her, he will not openly admitt it, cause he is a guy and a guy can not admitt he likes a sissy dog LOL
But he will let her love all over him and he holds her and fuzzes with her and she just adores him as well!
My suggestion for you is to make sure you keep your yorkie clean and brushed and make sure you are consistent on the potty training, that way she don't have an accident in the house, if he is a neat freak, he definitely will not want her pee'ing all over the place, so with a lot of hard work you should be able to get her trained quickly, if you do work, I suggest crate training her, do not give her run of the house, keep her safe, and a crate will help protect her.
I'm sure your hubby will come around and who knows, he may even want another one!
I know my hubby has agreed to me getting 1 more!
Good luck to you and keep us posted!
