My step-dad is just like your husband... It took my mom and I 3 years to talk him into letting us get an inside dog. Make sure you are constant about taking the pup out every 30 min. to an hour for the first couple months to get them potty trained. Other wise he will probly fall in love with your new pup...... My step-dad now would do anything for their yorkie. He even lets Rocky wake him up in the middle of the night so he can get a belly rub.... They act tuff but they fall hard when it comes to havnig that little pup on their lap
