I like the ones with barrettes. I make them for myself and have made them both ways and just think its easier to put the hair up with a band then add the bow with a barrette. If the bow is on a band then I can never get the bow to come out straight when I put it in her hair. I do like those corker bows, I believe that is what they are called, on bands though. I think I even prefer those on bands than barrettes but those are about the only ones.
