Anytime I'm coming from the laundry room with a load of clothes and accidently drop a sock on the floor my yorkies grab it and run for the hills. So I've started taking old socks and tying them together about three at a time with knots going down where each sock is tied. They are loving these homemade toys and have yet to touch any of their other stuff since they've finally got their socks they've always been obsessed with! Now I won't even go into the accidental dropping of the underwear  LOL |
My son made a toy out of old socks for Gus when he was a puppy. He loved it. I don't know what ever happened to it. But his favorite things to play with are squeaky balls.
Gus used to go after dropped clothes too but after hearing drop it so meny times he now knows better to grab it and run.
