heartguard is absolutely fine. It protects against heartworms which is the main purpose. And as long as romeo is also on flea and tick meds (like frontline plus) then he'll be fine. I prefer Interceptor because that's what i'm so used to selling from all the vets offices i've worked at.

But have no fears, i just read that heartgard also protects against rounds and hook. which means interceptor protects against rounds, hooks, and whips. that's the advantage of it.
