Has anyone who tried this had the problem of their pup being afraid of the bell? THANKS!!
I made bells for Reagan and she was scared of them. At first I tried bigger bells maybe 1 1/2 to 2 inches. She didn't like them at all. Then I tried smaller ones, pretty much just the normal sized ones. She didn't mind them as much but still wasn't really into them. So yes some dogs may be scared of them. She may have even gotten used to them after a while I don't know.

I'm not trying to put down the bells. Its a great idea and that's why I tried them in the beginning. Actually I have to say the biggest turning point in our potty training was when Reagan learned to "tell" me she wanted out. She will go to the door and scratch once maybe twice and wait. It was a lifesaver when she started doing that. So any way that you can get your dog to "tell" you is great and you will love it.
