Thank you guys so much for the help. I am still really slow at navigating this site. When Skeeter first wet the bed, it was on my husband's side, so I told all our friends that it was a sign that she didn't want him in the bed. Then she wet my side. The first three years of her life, she was kept in a room with her mother and grandmother. Jordan is actually her uncle. Skeeter was the lowest in the pecking order and you could feel all of her ribs and spine.

She wasn't housebroken and I cleaned a lot of carpets that first couple of months. Now she is a healthy weight and is doing a whole lot better

Regarding Tilly, what other symptoms did she have. I spoke with my husband and we both agree that Skeeter drinks a whole lot of water. We, at first, assumed it was because of the situation that she was in prior to us. We have an appointment at a new vet this Saturday. Does Tilly have to be on medicine for the rest of her life? Is she ok? We lost our Jackson in March, so I don't know if I could handle losing another one.
Thanks for welcoming me.
