I ha to change Capone's food from puppy food to adult food at 10 months and he did not react well to the change. (I even did it starting at 10% "new" food 90% "old" food ect for the course of 2 weeks) Eventually till it was all the adult "new" food. He threw up here and there as well as had runny stool. Just make sure they are eating. My vet has me give Capone pedialite when he has any type of vomittingg/diaehrea....it keeps there electrolites balanced.
Once he got used to the new food he was fine though! I also gave him some boiled chicken and rice to help calm his tummy and keep something in there too.
