The ingredients are not good, as is the case with foods like Pedigree, Eukaneuba, Science Diet, Bil Jac, and Iams. They use a lot of byproducts instead of WHOLE foods, such as Chicken byproduct, instead of Whole Chicken. Or they'll use a lot of corn or chicken fat, which isn't good for the babies. Plus most of the ingredients are not natural or organic. Corn causes itching in dogs because they can't digest it and they are allergic to it. The better ingredients are more at the bottom of the list which means there is less of those as opposed to the bad ingredients which they use a lot more of since they are at the top of the list. Innova is a great natural/organic food for dogs with fresh veggies and fruits mixed into kibble which has rice and whole meat. Let me know if you have any questions about food. I've become an expert since I got a yorkie. It's ok, we all get defensive when it comes to our babies. I'm sure Napoleon will do just great, but you would have been the lucky one. After I saw what my friend had to go through and still has to go through, it break my heart. I wouldn't want anyone else to go through that at all.
