I don't know who lied to you but deli meat is not only what they feed them. Have you ever heard of Cesar's? they told me that my puppy was to strictly be on that food because that is what they have been feeding him. They even gave me a few cans for free as well as a large Eukaneuba Crunchies bag. They were extremely nice and quite frankly I am appalled at your post. If you friend got such a bad pup then why would she go get another one from them. Also, you should know that S&V is not a petstore! They are a private family of breeders. R.Wall who breeds most of the yorkies is backed up by quite a few very happy on this forum, so if you don't believe me, please by all means speak to them. I know how bad puppy mills are but S&V is not AT ALL a puppy store! |
You are basing YOUR opinion about this PETSTORE on YOUR own experience. My friends dogs Seemed healthy in the beginning then closer to a year they showed signs of illnesses. Her father bought her the other yorkie from there not knowing about petstores and brokers. So it wasn't her that kept buying from him. And by the way Eukaneuba is a HORRIBLE brand as well as Cesars. And my friend didn't lie about it, I saw what he fed them and he SPECIFICALLY told my friend that he's been feeding them Boarshead Deli Roastbeef, so she needs to weene her off of it. He told her that himself. This poor puppy had so much diarhea it was unbelievable. She had scabs alllll over her belly and Ivan told her it was nothing and he would even hang up or ignore her calls. Her dewclaws were not removed like he said they were and he charged $1800 for her and advertised her as a teacup/toy. That's the kind of place it is, I thought I would educate you before you run off and advertise good things about a petstore. Just because your dog is healthy, it doesn't mean anything. I hope he stays healthy but don't be surprised if down the line he shows signs of bad health. I'm basing my experience off my friends 3 dogs, yes 3, not 1. She bought the first 2 together and her 3rd was from her father, he didn't know better. So you should get your facts straight before you back a broker like Ivan. That caused my friend lots of money and heartache and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through that. The original poster deserves the truth and here it is. It is up to her to now buy one from that store but at least she is informed and knows that you had a good experience with 1 dog up to the present, and my friend had 3 bad experiences with him.
