Hi everyone,
Cookie came through her extractions just great!!
The vet put up with my 100 questions and made sure to show me everything he was going to be using on her. He thoroughly explained what I could expect afterwards. She was very alert and awake when I picked her up..of course she was super excited to see her mommy and my bf (her daddy.) The vet advised not to feed her for up to an hour after getting home which I was kinda hesitant about b/c she hadn't eaten anything all day!!! But when I did feed her I made sure to mush up her food by adding a little water and she ate it all up. I fed her a little bit and waited about an hour to make sure she wouldn't throw anything up and then fed her the rest of her dinner and she was sooo content. I'm just glad its over...she has no more baby teeth, her teeth are nice and clean and she got microchipped also. I left her food in its normal state today and she was fine w/ it. Only thing I've noticed is that she is favoring her softer toys to chew on. Well thanks again for listening and sharing. Oh and yes he did use Isoflourene...the vet even showed me the tank w/ the name on it...LOL!!! I guess he saw the worried look on my face...
