If anyone is from Kodak, Tennessee or knows anyone from there. I want to let you know how grateful we are for the kindness and helpfulness that was shown to my husband, daughter and granddaughter last week.. As some of you know I lost a valuable Friesian Stallion on the 7th of April, well our mare was alone for the first time and did not like it. I searched and searched for a paddock pal for her. We found actually two, they are saddlebred's, one I got taken for, she is at least 200-250 lbs. underweight and the other is perfect, both are green, but,thats another story.. Ok, this is what happened. Coming down Rt.19, very narrow road, we must have hit a branch or something well, it caused one of the trailer tires to shred, (we did not know this). We traveled another 230 miles and pulled into a MacDonalds to rest, once daylight arrived we did a spot check of the truck and trailer and found the shredded tire. Two gentlemen who drive dump trucks came to help, however they (we) did not have the right tools to remove the tire, they spend over 45 minutes trying. They felt truly bad that they could not help us. They directed us to a tractor trailer company. There we met a wonderful staff and a gentleman named Trent Smith. He not only changed the tire, but the staff gave my husband an office so that he could take a breathing treatment, he has COPD and Emphysema, offered coffed and soda. They gave a wonderful directions to our next stop in Virgina. So, if you know anyone or live there, please accept our hearfelt THANKS for all that you did for the Sparks and Connell families....
