When I first got chloe she had a very cottony puppy coat and I was never successful at finding any products at petco or petsmart and believe me I bought all the different types of "detanglers" and conditioners they had. I think you will have to get products from a company that specializes in shampoos and conditioners for long haired dogs and you will probobly have to go online for that. I know many people like chris christensen products. I like happytails deep conditioner for my yorkie and I think it is the only thing that has actually improved her hair. I also trim off all the dead ends at least once or twice a month and this really helps me to keep her hair tangle free (which is great because chloe is always wearing clothes)
