When I purchased my female Abigail, she was only 7 weeks old and her ears were down and floppy. I told her Breeder that I would not get her unless I knew they would stand up, like my male Artie's ears? She assured me that both her Parents ears stood up at all times. She will be 12 weeks on Monday, and both are ears are up. When I got Artie, he was 20 weeks old and his ears were already up. But he has exceptional Breeding, his ears are so small that they look like they have been cropped/cut but they haven't. I think it really depends on their Breeding and their Diet, if there is enough Calcium in it?
So the cartilage hardens in their ears to stand upright?
But if they are not standing by 6 months? I doubt if they will?
It's just a matter of personal preference too!
