I have a Bichon and a Yorkie --- and believe me -- a Bichon is a much more complicated grooming problem than a Yorkie can ever be. And -- over the years, I have had every grooming result imaginable. My attitude is that anyway my dog(s) are ever groomed is "not the end of the world." Most of the time, I am happy with the way they are groomed and other times, I think they look pretty "pitiful," and wait for them to grow out and start over again.

But - life goes on - it is not the end of the world!!! Hair grows back!!!

With luck - if you keep searching - you'll find the groomer that grooms your dog perfect every time!!!

I don't know why everyone is always so upset about the way their dogs are groomed. They are still the same dog and are precious and lovely and loveable regardless of how their hair has been cut.

Some of my favorite pictures of my Bichon are the times he got the "worst haircut in the world." Believe me, he could have cared less - it was me that was disappointed.

You really just need to find a groomer that cuts your dog the way you want him to be. And, don't we all know that no dog has so as many different styles and different haircuts as the little Yorkie.

I have more important things in life to worry than how my Yorkie is groomed. Regardless of his haircut, he always comes home - clean, happy, smelling good, and feeling good about himself. And, he's especially happy about just getting home and back to normal.

And, I have had a "few bad haircuts myself - haven't you??"

Again - just find a groomer that you are happy with.....and, sometimes this takes a while.
