 Our Benji hasn't eaten for 2 days
Our poor Benji hasn't eaten for 2 days now, and every time he drinks water he throws it back up. He doesn't have diarrhea, in fact I haven't noticed him doing anything but pee a little bit. I know he got into the litter box a couple nights ago, do you think the clumping litter might have caused a blockage. He is only 5 months old and still chews on everything. Who knows what else he might have swallowed. It might just be a bacteria or virus as well. Any thoughts on this? How long can he go without eating? I am worried about not eating causing low blood sugar problems, even though he has never been prone to this. Is there anything I can give him in case it might be a blockage? I am not able to take him to the vet for x-rays or surgery, and we're all going to be absolutely devastated if he doesn't pull out of it. Any ideas? |
