I think there are a lot of people who ignore the ordinances. the catchin come before the hangin.
However, I have wondered the same thing. I live in the country and the county also has an ordinace. I believe I can have three females and one male, without having to apply for a kennel license.
A kennel license is issued by the Dept of Agriculture. and then you have to follow certain rules cooncerning fhousing and such, and be subject to inspections by the dept of Ag.
I know of one breeder that has 25 full time dogs. All of them in her house.
But most breeders are probably hesitant to anounce over the internet that they have more dogs than they are allowed. You never know who might be lurking. |
