Rudy does the same thing with toys or treats. He goes up to her and puts it right by her let her go for it and he gets it. When Maddie really wants it she won't let go of it and runs for him. When I fill to dog bowl he sit by it and growls if Maddi and Lucky come near it. He will let them get food but it is like he is saying It's all mine but I will share. It's not a mean growl but a talking growl. Rudy and Maddie have such different personalities..........Cindy
