My two year old just recently started to gain weight. I'm not sure it's medically related...it seems that she's depressed. Every time she tries to play with a toy, her 1yr old brother steals it away. She just sort of looks at him and then goes to get a bite to eat. Every single time he takes something away from her.
I believe in free-feeding and have committed to taking her for walks DAILY. The weather has just started to break and she wasn't able to go for a few months.
She's scheduled for a checkup in June ad I will share my concerns with my vet at that time. |
I think Royal Canin has a higher fat content than most which may be linked to pancreatitis.
