Harley sleeps with me every night.
My fiance sleeps on one side of me and Harley gets the other!
I don't see anything wrong with letting your dog sleep with you, if they are well trained and don't act like fools on your bed at night.
Something to consider, though: Harley is two years old and weighs 4 pounds; My breeder suggested that I teach him to NOT jump off the bed. You don't want a teeny Yorkie to hurt themself by jumping off the bed and accidently breaking something. I was able to teach him to just stand at the end of the bed and give me a small bark when he wants down. He's a good boy!
