i don't know the law down in georgia but in NJ every dog needs a rabies shot. Most little puppies can't handle having more then one shot a visit, so if your vet gave the pup a distemper and a rabies then your pup might get really tired today. Its normal for them to be tired after a vaccines because they weigh less then 5 lbs, but if you noticed excessive lethargy, not eating/drinking, not wanting to go outside, and/or vomiting/diarrhea then i'd call the vet. lethargy and not eating, if it does occur should go away by dinner time tonight and definately by breakfast tomorrow. if these still occur tomorrow morning and the pup doesn't want to eat then call the vet |
