Default Potty training will take a lot of patience on your part.

And it will not happen overnight. Whatever method you choose to use to train your pup will have to be stuck to with no exceptions. Never leave the pup unattended or with free roam of the house. Crate training is a very good way to train. Most dogs won't go potty where they sleep. Praise for good behavior and scolding for bad behavior go a long way in this process. But like I said, whatever method you choose, you have to be persistent. Your pup will learn...it just takes time. It can be very frustrating as well, but just take a deep breath and remember that this a baby you are dealing with and just like any baby, they learn by repetition. Good luck!
