I don't have any experience with that exact model but as I said I do have a Sony Cybershot and I'm very pleased with the camera and the picture quality and since that one is a newer model I can only assume that it's even better. I'm sure you'd be very pleased with it.

One note- I've dropped it a couple times and it still works fine. I dropped my minolta once and it broke, hence the reason I now have the Sony. I really should learn to use the wrist strap eh?
