Some of them never stand. I have heard that if they aren't up by six months it is highly unlikely that they ever will be - of course, there are people who have said their Yorkie's ears stood up after two years - so you just never know. Ask the breeder if the mom and dad's ears were up or if there are any floppy eared dogs in the line.
