 Oscar has never minded the blow dryer.
Actually he has always thought it was a game when I dry my hair...I flip my head over and dry underneath and he is steadily trying to attack my hair! I got one of those dryer stands you see "advertised on TV". That way I can have both hands free to dry him and hold him. He still will not let my dry his face. He puts his head down and covers his head with both paws...it is so funny! I would start by wrapping him in a towel really snugly and let someone else turn on the blow dryer in the other room. Talk to him gently, rubbing him and tell him it is o.k. Slowly walk with him to the other room all the while reassuring him it is o.k. Maybe you can get him used to it this way. I would not force it on him tho...might really be an issue with him later on. |
