Hi Sophiesmom, The only experience we had with the laminate flooring was back about 5 years ago, it was pergo and we took it up for several reasons, I am one that goes bare foot in the house and the bottom of my feet got real red and sore and hubby wore out the bottom of his socks, the manufacture had told us it was aluminum oxide in the flooring so we decided best for ourselves and also for our yorkie not to have it. Like I said that was five years ago so it may be different now. We put the Congoleum Vynal Planks (looks like wood) in our family room, really am happy with that and it cleans up ever so easy. It has to be glued to the cement or flooring. It was a lot easier to put down than the laminate. By the way, welcome to YT.
