that stuff to keep them from licking sounds like a good alternative.
I have used onsies with good success. only thing is, i put them on backwards so as the snaps are on the upper side. i didn't want them rubbing the problem area.
I hope his infection clears up fast. poor little feller.
Tressie goes in for her 'fix' in a couple of weeks. then when she has recovered it is Archie's turn. then we are done.
