I think the best with a yorkie puppy is to hope for the best but expect the worst when it comes to potty training. When you first get your pup, there will be a few rough weeks depending on how you choose to train. If you are pad training, there are tons of posts on here regarding that subject. We trained Oscar to go outside and it is just a constant relentless pattern you have to get into of taking the pup outside BEFORE they have to go potty. Then when they DO go potty outside, praise, praise, praise. It will be a few months before your pup has complete control if its bladder and bowels...just remember, it is a puppy and a baby and you have to be patient AND forgiving! Congratulations on getting your new puppy. You will absolutely love it!!! I am sure of that!!! We will want to see lots of pics of course!!!
