Well the problem is, they don't know if they are for sure show quality until they are much older. They do know if they are definitely not show quality at a much younger age, and that is why they sell them at reasonable prices.
I just paid $1500 fior a male, but he is a parti color carrier, so that makes him worth more, to people who want to breed parti coloreds, than one who is not a carrier.
The price differences on these puppies is mind boggling. It seems like the breeders just pick a price, with no rhyme or reason.
They would have to give me a darn good reason as to why one particular dog is twice the price of another one.
Just my opinion, and nothing against people who have paid more. I just can't make any sense out of it.
