As of now, it is not possible to determine the race of human DNA...you can determine male from female..human from animal, but not Asian from African America, Caucasian from American Indian...same with breeds of dogs.
That is very enlightening. I didn't know how they used the DNA , but it makes sense. so therefore it would prove that a parti colored yorkie did not come from a maltee yorkie mix.
