To overcome the possition in the pack issue we follow a few simple rituals, the dogs can come visit us at the top of the bed while were awake, then when its time to sleep the rule is dogs foot of the bed.This shows them they arent king or queen dog in the pecking order, as the covet the top of the bed.If at anytime someone is moving or wandering, and its just annoying and keeping us up, intot hier sleeping crates.They know that queen dog mommy will evict them if they don't stay put, and if they arent at the foot of the bed, behind my knees is alright, but any furthur up durring sleep time is eviction.This gives them a chance to be with us, but also shows them they have to follow rules set by us.It works anyways.
