Actually, I just went on the site, and they have it on sale for $79.96 with free shipping...cheaper than when I bought mine.
I use mine daily, after I get out of the shower. You are suppose to let your hair dry naturally (without blow drying it) then straighten it, but sometimes I don't have time, so I dry it then straighten.
It isn't permanent... but once you straighten it, it will stay like that until you wash it. It hasn't damaged my hair at all... but it does say on the package that if you have thin hair (like mine) not to put it above a 5 on the temp. setting.
But I would HIGHLY recommend it! I love it so much, and I am glad I didn't go and buy one of those ones that cost like $200... when this one DEFINANTLY does the job!
