I know that most of the time yorkies, males & females, hump to show dominance over another dog. So, if another male dog came to visit YOUR house, then your dog is probably humping him because he wanted to show the other dog that he was the dominant one.
Also, Hobbs was a humper before we got him neutered. After he got neutered, he has not tried to hump a single time. The vet told me that this behaviour can absolutely be reversed when neutered.
