Yesterday we went to the homecoming celebration for my son. He just returned home from an 18 month deployment. (12 months in Iraq). Wow the reception these soldiers received was remarkable. Even he was surprised at the turnout. And when we got home Kobe was waiting with tons of kisses. What a perfect day.
